Balance Your Life

Whenever there is a balance in life, it feels good… there is a silence, a joy, a sense of fulfillment. Our tensions, worries, fears, insecurities, frustrations, boredom, loneliness etc. are all indications that a balance in life is missing.

21 st -century living often means living in imbalance. We use our minds too much, our bodies too little, and our emotions create a continuous turmoil inside.

If you look at your own life, you may discover that in the important areas of life, the imbalance is a reality:

  • In work and family life.
  • In giving time to yourself and to others.
  • Between body and mind – our minds are too active and our bodies not active enough – this unwanted mental-activity can prevent us from using our minds effectively.
  • In lack of awareness about the body. Early conditioning has divided our body into pieces and we rarely feel the body as one whole organism.
  • Lack of awareness of our feelings, where the mind takes over and we become numb.
  • Intense negative emotions continuously affect life: repressing them harms our body-mind, and if expressed on others our relationships are disturbed.
  • Our relationships with others – whether at the work or in our personal lives – are full of conflict and misunderstandings, and this can be very challenging. Either we feel dependent and resentful, or we feel suffocated. A balance between enjoying ourselves and enjoying good relations with others is often missing.
  • In relaxation and happiness too, our search is often for means outside ourselves, or in trying to find the right people – a balance of outer and inner is missing.

In this workshop, we first delve into the imbalance that is a fact of life and releases the tensions and anxieties that have resulted due to this imbalance. We use meditation techniques and other methods to create an experience of balance that can bring a totally different quality to our lives, and we learn to use these methods, along with right attitudes, to restore the balance in order to live our lives with silence, joy and full of energy.
