Breath And Emotional Wellness

Emotions and life:

  • Emotions are big energies in life. Situations, people, and circumstances can all create emotions, and these can trigger overpowering energy in us.
  • If you watch – you will find that our actions and reactions are most often guided by strong emotional states within us. What we do, how we think, and what we perceive, depends on our emotional state. We continuously move through many emotions: love, hate, anger, fear, frustration, irritation, jealousy, sadness, joy – and in each emotional state we feel and behave differently.
  • By expressing our emotions onto others, we often create difficult situations and troubles in our relations. Then we have to deal with them, and this takes a lot of energy. Yet if we don’t express, if instead we repress, this harms our body-mind and our wellbeing is disturbed.
  • In an emotional state we often find we do things for which we later repent. This can happen again and again, and we can feel defeated in life. We lose trust in ourselves. People and situations create emotions within us, and these emotions give direction to our lives. There is no mastery of emotions in life.
  • We are conditioned to have strong judgments about our emotions, both positive and negative.
  • We want to hold on to positive emotions and we want to get rid of negative emotions, and we don’t manage either very well.

Emotional Wellness:

  • Is there a way that we can live these emotions naturally without creating difficult situations by expressing on others and without harming our body-mind by repressing them?
  • Yes! There is a possibility for us to live, allow and enjoy our emotional energies. Breath is one of the most powerful methodologies, bringing awareness of and mastery over emotions to our lives.
  • Breath and life are intimately connected. In each emotional state we breathe differently, and by methods of breathing differently we can change our inner state too.
  • We live in the mind most of the time, with no connection with body, heart and feelings. This is a very imbalanced way of life. In this workshop, we work to connect with our body and connect with our feelings again by using breath techniques. By connecting with our body and with our feelings, we connect with life.
  • Breath techniques can release our tensions, our restlessness, and our repressed emotions – and in this way we undo the harm we have done to ourselves by repressing. And we can learn a new natural and healthy way of living emotions with care and love for our body-mind and without harming our relations.
  • This workshop offers techniques and experience to bring aliveness to those who have a passion for life and want to live their full potential.
